The octopus is the reef's best escape artist and one of the favourite finds on any Mediterranean dive. These prints come as long-sleeve rash guards with built-in UV protection, in men's and women's cuts, and as warm pullover hoodies for the boat ride home.

How to find an octopus on a dive
Octopuses hide in holes and cracks in the rock, so look for the clues: a neat pile of empty shells and crab legs outside a hole, called a midden, or a pair of eyes watching you from a crevice. Hang back, stay still and give it a minute. A curious octopus will often reach out an arm or change colour while it works out what you are.
Three hearts and blue blood
An octopus has three hearts, blue copper-based blood and eight arms lined with suckers that can taste what they touch. It can change the colour and texture of its skin in a fraction of a second, which is why it vanishes against the rock the moment you look away. Most octopuses are harmless to divers, but the small blue-ringed octopus of the Pacific and Indian Oceans is highly venomous: look, never touch.
Sizes, fabric and delivery
Octopus rash guards come in sizes XS to 4XL, in a quick-dry 82% polyester / 18% spandex fabric with four-way stretch and flatlock seams. The pullover hoodies are 95% recycled polyester with 5% spandex and a double-layer hood. Everything is printed and sewn to order in 4–9 business days, then shipped worldwide.
